One of the most requested features from our community has arrived. Today we're introducing real-time risk alerts—a smarter way to stay informed about what's happening in your portfolio without constantly checking your screen.
What changed
Previously, Optimus analyzed your portfolio risk on a daily basis. You could see your risk score, review your exposure, and understand your vulnerabilities—but only when you actively logged in. Important shifts could happen between sessions without your knowledge.
Real-time risk alerts change that. Orion now monitors your portfolio continuously and notifies you the moment something significant shifts.
What triggers an alert
Not every market movement warrants a notification. We've designed the alert system to focus on what actually matters to your portfolio. You'll receive notifications for significant allocation drift, unusual volatility in your holdings, concentration risk thresholds being crossed, and major market events that could impact your positions.
How to customize
Every investor has different priorities and risk tolerance. That's why alerts are fully customizable. You can adjust sensitivity thresholds, choose which types of events trigger notifications, and select your preferred channels—email, push notifications, or both.
Pro tip: Start with default settings and adjust based on your experience. Most investors find that fine-tuning after two weeks gives them the perfect balance of awareness without noise.
What this means for your workflow
Real-time alerts don't replace the need for regular portfolio reviews. They complement them. Think of alerts as your early warning system—flagging moments that deserve your attention so you can make informed decisions when it matters most.
This feature is available on all Pro and Advisor plans. Free tier users will receive weekly portfolio digests as an alternative.
We're excited to hear how you use real-time risk alerts. Share your feedback with our team—it directly shapes what we build next.
